What does Nastenka mean?
Nastenka is a young idealistic woman who is the object of the narrator's affection in In Fyodor Dostoevsky's "White Nights"
My poem was inspired by the following dialogue which is from this book.
"Your hand is cold, mine burns like fire. How blind you are, Nastenka!"
I was hesitant to ask what Nastenka means. Glad that I know the context now , as well as the significance of the title. Otherwise I would have understood my version of your work.
It is always a good thing to know more and more. No issues.
